Graceville motorcyclist killed in Friday crash

A 59-year-old Graceville man was killed while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle Friday night in Holmes County, just outside of Graceville ..
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, David Allen was
struck while at the intersection of State 173 and State 2, west of Graceville. A
2005 Ford Taurus driven by 34-year-old Kimberly Miller of Noma. Was traveling southbound on SR 173 and attempted to make a left turn on to SR 2.
Miller pulled into the path of the motorcycle. The right front of her vehicle struck the front of Allen's motorcycle in the westbound traffic lane of SR 2. Allen was thrown from the
motorcycle into the eastbound traffic lane. He was taken to a Tallahassee hospital,
where he died from his injuries. Allen was not wearing a helmet at the time of the
crash, the .FHP said in the report.
