Man drives in wrong di­rection, dies in collision. Shane Swenson, 31, of Ti- tusville, was killed Thursday morning after driving the wrong way on a major Or­ange County road. The two-vehicle crash happened at about 3:40 a.m. at State Road 417 and Uni­versity Boulevard, and shut down the road for several hours, officials reported. An Orlando woman iden­tified as Angela Heine, had to be extricated from her 2002 Volkswagen following the head-on collision with Swenson's 1999 Oldsmo- bile. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she was listed in criti­cal condition. Investigators said Swen­son was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of State Road 417 when the crash occurred. Swenson was not wearing a seat belt. Florida Today Brevard County March 25, 2011
