MANATEE COUNTY - Troopers are looking for the driver of a gold car who caused a serious crash in Manatee County Sunday.

It happened shortly after 4 am on US 301, north of 63rd Avenue East.

Troopers say a gold car ran into the back of a pick-up truck and trailer. The truck then veered into the path of the motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Gary Garrot of Orlando. He hit the median and his bike flipped.

Garrot was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in serious condition. The driver of the truck had minor injuries
