Two lawsuits filed by individuals who fell on Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport property have been resolved

During a brief, sparsely attended authority meeting, attorney
Hugh Moore asked members to approve the payment of "no more than $13,000" as the airport's share of a settlement of one of the suits.

The case involved a person who fell from a loading bridge, he explained.

The settlement was reached through mediation.

Allegiant Airlines also will pay an equal amount to the injured party to settle the suit, he said.

In the second lawsuit, attorney Moore said the settlement will be paid by the insurance company.
