One killed, two hurt Near I-75 exit

One killed, two
hurt near I-75 exit
A man died Sunday afternoon
in a car crash near the
Interstate 75 exit to Morris
Bridge Road. Aaron Madueke, 59, was driving north on I-75 about 1:09 p.m. in a
2000 Honda Accord when
he exited onto Morris Bridge
Road, Hillsborough County
sheriff’s officials said. He
failed to stop at a stop sign
at the exit. A 2001 Ford Expedition
traveling west then
struck the Honda, officials
said. Madueke, of Tampa,
died at the scene. His daughter,
Mary Madueke, 14, was
taken to a hospital with
nonlife-threatening injuries,
authorities said. The driver of
the Expedition, Jack Small,
52, of Valrico was uninjured.
His wife, Kimberly Small, 50,
was taken to the hospital
with minor injuries, authorities said. An investigation is
ongoing.
