SPRING HILL Motorcyclist, 34, dies after crash A motorcyclist died early Sunday after failing to make a curve, striking a tree and then being hit by another driver, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The name of the motorcyclist, who was 34 and from Spring Hill, was not released. The patrol said that around 3 a.m., the motorcyclist was driving a Yamaha R6 near Pinehurst Drive and Talbot Circle when he failed to negotiate a curve. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, struck a tree and was ejected onto the road. Brendan Sean Haverty, 34, of Spring Hill was driving a pickup truck south on Pinehurst Drive and did not see the motor­cyclist in the road, the patrol said.
