CRESTVIEW -- A Crestview man was flown to Baptist Hospital in serious condition after being ejected from his motorcycle.
The wreck happened today shortly after 4 p.m., according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
John C. Williams, 67, was driving his Honda motorcycle west on James Lee Boulevard in the outside lane.
Crestview resident Vickie L. Fredericks, 33, was heading south on Valley Road and came to a stop sign on James Lee Boulevard. She stopped but failed to yield the right of way to Williams.
Williams changed into the inside lane but was unable to avoid hitting Fredericks’ 1988 Chevrolet 4-door. The front and right side of his bike hit the left side of Fredericks’ vehicle.
Williams was ejected from the motorcycle on impact. He was wearing a helmet.
Fredericks, who was wearing a seatbelt, was uninjured. She was cited for violation of right away.
