"South Bay man, 31, killed in possible hit-and-run in Belle Glade"

BELLE GLADE — A 31-year-old pedestrian from South Bay was killed along State Road 715 sometime this morning in an apparent hit-and-run.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol Report, George Jermaine Dyous was found in a grass ditch on the side of the road early this morning. Investigators believe Dyous was walking either on the road or on a nearby grass shoulder when a Chevy Blazer hit him and the driver left the scene.
The driver has been identified as Juan Bernardo Nunez, 24, of South Bay, according to the FHP. Nunez has not been charged, but the case is still under investigation.
