"Motorcyclist dies after crashing into dog"

OCALA, Fla. (AP) - A man who fell off his motorcycle last month after hitting a dog in north Florida has died. Florida Highway Patrol reports that 71-year-old Robert J. Lendman died Saturday at a Gainesville hospital. FHP says Lendman was riding his 2006 Harley-Davidson on a county road near Ocala Feb. 15 when he struck a dog that ran across the busy street. The motorcycle flipped, leaving Lendman with serious injuries.
