A Saturday morning crash near Duhme Road and 54th Avenue North killed a 26-year-old St. Petersburg man.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Lindsey Hudson was headed south on Duhme Road in a 4-door 1999 Mercury. The FHP said his Mercury turned into the path of a 1998 Chrysler convertible.
Hudson died at St. Petersburg General Hospital. The driver of the Chrysler, 48-year-old Jacquelyn Simmons of Clearwater, is in serious condition at Morton Plant Hospital.
The investigation continues.
